All treatments are subject to clinical assessment, patient suitability, medical history, consent, appointment availability and the professional judgement of the treating clinician.

4. Clinical Assessment and Treatment Suitability

Dental treatment cannot be guaranteed before a suitable clinical assessment has been completed. The treatment recommended to you will depend on your oral health, dental history, medical history, symptoms, diagnostic findings and clinical needs.

We reserve the right to decline, delay, amend or refer treatment where it is clinically appropriate, unsafe, outside the scope of available services, or not in the patient’s best interests.

5. Appointments and Bookings

Appointment requests are subject to availability and confirmation by the clinic. Submitting an online booking request does not guarantee that the appointment is confirmed until we have confirmed it with you.

Patients are asked to arrive at least 10 minutes before the appointment time to allow for check-in, medical history updates and any required paperwork.

We aim to run appointments on time; however, delays may occur due to emergency cases, complex treatment needs, previous appointments, clinical considerations or circumstances outside our control.

6. Cancellations and Rearrangements

If you need to cancel or rearrange an appointment, please contact us as early as possible and at least 48 hours before your appointment time.

For confirmations, cancellations or rearrangements, please contact us during our stated admin contact hours, between 10:00 and 15:00.

Late cancellations, missed appointments or failure to attend may affect future booking availability and may be subject to cancellation terms where applicable.

7. Patient Responsibilities

Patients must provide accurate personal details, contact information, medical history, medication details, allergy information and relevant dental history.

You must inform us of any changes to your health, medication, pregnancy status, allergies or other conditions that may affect dental treatment.

Patients are responsible for following pre-treatment and post-treatment advice provided by the clinician.

8. Consent to Treatment

Before treatment is carried out, we will explain the nature of the proposed treatment, relevant options, expected benefits, material risks and any reasonable alternatives where appropriate.

By proceeding with treatment, you confirm that you have had the opportunity to ask questions and that you consent to the agreed treatment plan.

9. Fees, Payments and Estimates

Treatment fees, estimates or indicative prices may be provided before treatment where applicable. Final costs may vary if your treatment needs change, additional treatment is required, or clinical findings differ from the initial assessment.

Payment terms will be confirmed by the clinic. Payment may be required before, during or after treatment depending on the type of service provided.

If a treatment plan involves multiple appointments, staged payments may be requested.

10. Emergency Dental Care

Emergency dental appointments are subject to availability and clinical priority. Emergency care may focus on assessment, pain relief, stabilisation or urgent management rather than full definitive treatment.

If you are experiencing severe swelling, breathing difficulty, uncontrolled bleeding, trauma or a medical emergency, you should seek urgent medical assistance through NHS 111, 999 or the appropriate emergency service.

11. Treatment Outcomes

We aim to provide dental care with reasonable care, skill and professional standards. However, individual outcomes may vary depending on oral health, medical factors, treatment complexity, patient compliance, healing response and lifestyle factors.

No dental treatment can be guaranteed to last indefinitely. Ongoing maintenance, oral hygiene, routine check-ups and following clinical advice are important for long-term results.

12. Dental Therapist Services

Dental therapist services may include suitable routine treatments, preventive care, oral health education, children’s dental care and other services within the clinician’s professional scope of practice.

Where a treatment requires referral to a dentist, specialist or another clinician, we will advise you accordingly.

13. Clinical Records

We may create and maintain dental records, treatment notes, medical history forms, consent records, images, radiographs, communications and appointment records as part of your care.

Clinical records are maintained for patient care, legal, regulatory, administrative and professional purposes.

14. Privacy and Personal Data

We may collect and process personal data such as your name, contact details, appointment details, dental history, medical history, treatment notes and communications in order to provide dental care and manage clinic services.

Personal data will be handled in accordance with applicable UK data protection laws, including UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

We only use your personal information for appropriate purposes connected with your enquiry, appointment, treatment, record keeping, legal obligations, clinic administration and communication.

15. Website Use

The information on our website is provided for general information only and should not be treated as a substitute for a dental examination, diagnosis or personalised clinical advice.

Website content, images, branding, service descriptions and materials must not be copied, reused or reproduced without permission.

16. Complaints and Feedback

If you are unhappy with any part of our service or treatment, please contact us as soon as possible so that we can review your concerns.

We aim to deal with complaints fairly, respectfully and within a reasonable time. Where appropriate, we may request further information to investigate the matter properly.

17. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits or excludes liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

We are not responsible for losses caused by inaccurate information provided by a patient, failure to follow clinical advice, missed appointments, third-party treatment, pre-existing conditions, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

18. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
